Water - My Basic Human Right

Today is Blog Action Day-Write a Post for Clean Water! The National Water Resources Board created in 1974 to manage the country's water resource sadly failed in past administrations. Five cabinet secretaries are part of the board. Waterless communities like Bagong Silang learn alternative ways of getting water. BF Homes Paranaque only had access to 24/7 water supply in 2009. In 2004 PGMA through her Patubig task force identified 300 waterless communities in Metro Manila alone (from the Philippine goverment website). Do they have water now? UN has declared access to clean water a human right. PNoy, the ball is now in your hands.
